I was born and raised in our district and care about its future. As I travel the district, meeting with Mississippians about the issues that matter most, like ensuring public safety, better highways, and supporting transportation projects to creating more jobs.

I will work to create more transparency in government and improve the way our local government works. Now more than ever, we need leaders representing us who will work every day to move Mississippi forward.

I believe in hard work and service to our community. I served two terms Councilman representing South Jackson's sixth ward. In addition to serving our community I served our country as a Marine and I am a retired Major after 21 years in the U.S. Armed Forces. I am a husband and a father and I have the leadership experience needed to be an effective Transportation Commissioner.

Over the course of this campaign, I look forward to continuing our dialogue and laying out my specific plans to address these important issues.
